Our Prim and Proper Little Girl

Sometimes Bella is a total girly girl and sometimes she is.....wild! We love it when she is a little nutty, it makes us laugh like we have never laughed! There is plenty of time for being proper and well behaved....right now, it's time to have a little fun!

Splashing in the tub!

SOOOOO excited about splashing! She was screaming at the top of her lungs from the pure joy of splashing, love her!

Good girl, Daddy would be so proud! Keeping it censored!

And Bella's newest trick! We say, "Bella, where is your tongue?!" and she sticks out her tongue (see above) and says, "Ahhhh!" Pretty dang cute!

More sticking out the tongue, I may or may not ask her to show me her tongue a lot during the day because I just think it's so cute and she thinks its so fun!

And my favorite, working the tongue out pose like a pro! And yes, she was also working the just a diaper and tennies look and pulling it off if I do say so myself!

Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day! I have been lucky enough to have an awesome father in my life, and a wonderful example of what a father should be! And now, I get to watch my husband be an amazing father to our daughter. What a perfect day to celebrate these awesome men in our lives! Our pastor Matt spoke today about how God has irresponsible grace and unconditional love. What an amazing model to men and I think these two men live that out beautifully! Bella loves her Grandpa so much! And Bella's love for her Dad....wow! She lights up when he gets home each day and one of her favorite things is to SCREAM (in a happy way) dada! She could play with him all day long! Happy Father's Day 2011!

This is from Father's Day 2010, Rowdy's first Father's Day. Bella always loved to snuggle with her Dad and fall asleep in his arms.......

Father's Day 2011.....as you can see, Bella is bigger, but not much else has changed. Still a total Daddy's girl!

Love them!

Oh Bella....such a beautiful face ;-) She kept making this stinker face and her little teeth would stick out. Adorable now....but hopefully not something she does in her wedding pictures one day!

Grandpa and Bella at lunch sharing water.....so cute!

She loves him so much!

Grandpa/Dad and his girls!

Our crazy child at lunch! Our once perfectly well behaved restaurant child is now a force to be reckoned with! She is busy taking out all the sugar packets and playing with them, throwing puffs on the ground, smiling and saying hi to passers by, eating food, refusing food. Needless to say....she keeps us on our toes in restuarants now!

Goofball face!

She loves to dip, food and her fingers! Today she had ranch with her veggies and she would dip her bread in the ranch, take a bite and say "Mmmmmm!"

We have fun!

Love our little family!

Bella with her Dad and Grandpa!

Happy Father's Day 2011 to the best Father's in the world!

These boots were made for walkin.......

Bella is moving closer to walking, slowly but surely. We finally figured out some things with her balance issues. That crooked little ankle we have been noticing for some time, and the doctors have assured us she would grow out of.....is apparently not changing any time soon so we saw a physical therapist who recommended a little orthotic insert for her shoes to straighten out her ankle and buildup her ankle muscles a little better. Only thing.....she wasn't wearing shoes very often since she really didn't need them since she wasn't walking outside really and she was better at balancing on her own feet than in soft shoes. We should be getting the inserts in the next few days but we went shopping with Grandma Julia and found these adorable Nike shoes that Bella just had to have. High ankle support and a nice solid foundation for her to stand on. Just the shoes alone have made a huge difference in her balance and confidence. Hopefully she will be running around in no time :-)

One of her favorite things in the world to do....push this little scooter around the house. Seriously......for hours.....This is before the new shoes :-)

And look at that smile with her new shoes on, she loves them. When I get her up in the morning she will start trying to put her socks on and hold her shoes up to her feet!

More fun times with the scooter around the house

Practicing her moves with Grandma before she got her new shoes. This little outfit is from my Aunt Lenny and she just looks SO cute in it!

Seriously.....so cute in this outfit! Love the little froggy on the shirt!

Play Pool Love

Bella is, and has always been, a lover of both the outdoors and the water. She could splash for hours if we let her, and one of her favorite things to do is play on our patio, picking out her favorite rocks and exploring all the unknown. She is so cute when she is out there, tiny little strands of hair blowing in the wind, playing with her buddy/nemesis (depending on the minute) Oreo. She will frequently have me open the door for her and she can open and close the screen door herself so she will go in and out at her own choosing. We keep the play pool on the patio when it is not in use. We have some balls in there and some other random things, like Rowdy's outdoor/yard work shoes and other prizes she finds to bring in with her. She loves playing in that pool. Frequently, I will peek out at her from the living room and she will be reclined on the end of swimming pool (it's a blow up pool), she will be laying there, enjoying the breeze, throwing balls for Oreo and just living it up. It's the cutest thing in the world. Here are a few pictures from the other day when she was playing out on the patio, such a sweet little carefree girl!

Silly girl playing in the empty pool

Picking up balls to throw to Oreo

Playing tug o' war with Oreo

And her favorite.....sooooo comfy, she seriously does this a TON, it just cracks me up!

She was laughing at Oreo and she kept sliding down, it didn't look comfy after a while but she still stayed there, giggling at Oreo.

I just love the look in her eyes here, she knows just how to bat those gorgeous eyelashes and get what she wants, love her!

A Few Weekend Randoms

We have been busy busy busy lately! This week/weekend we had lots of fun activities surrounding the wedding of some friend's of ours which kept us busy and up late on a few nights. Even Bella got to have fun with grandparents staying up late and playing. Needless to say, we are all a little tired but we had a lot of fun!

Rowdy and I at Phil and Cassie's Wedding, such a fun day! We always have to get a picture together on the few rare occassions we are actually dressed up!

Last week we also celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary! Hard to believe as it has literally flown by! Happy Anniversary to us!

Bella was exhausted too! We went in to get her up from her nap before church because we needed to leave, she had taken forever to fall asleep and really probably on got about a 30 minute nap, we felt bad but we definitely wanted to go to church so we went in to get her. Well, we turned on the light and were taking pictures of her and....nothing.....she just kept sleeping. Poor girl. She was so cozy.

This is how she sleeps the majority of the time, paci in mouth (probably not for much longer though) and her blankie under her, legs tucked up under her, and her booty up in the air, cutie pie!
