Funny faces, outfit changes and big Bella smiles!

Bella has started smiling, and it is pretty much the cutest thing in the world! She started a little over a week ago and it is now everyone's goal to make her smile :-) She makes the funniest and most goofy faces when she is not smiling. Also, being the adorable girl that she is I have to dress her up in some pretty cute outfits but she has recently had a few "accidents" and has required some outfit changes during the day, she is becoming quite the little fashionista demanding multiple outfits a day!

Bella's Fun with Family

We have taken a lot of fun pictures with Bella lately. We recently went over to hang at Grandma Julia's while she made sugar cookies. I think Bella distracted from the sugar cookies more than helped :-) Also, Uncle Matt came over to play with Bella and she loved it! She stayed awake the whole time staring at him, probably because he is so goofy and was making lots of faces (see below). Also, Rowdy and I had another date night and we got a few pictures before heading out.

We were very busy this weekend but we managed (as always) to have lots of fun moments and, of course, I had to take pictures of them! Bella is getting so big I can't believe it! She has been going through a growth spurt and has had some fussy evenings. She was so sweet all day today and no fussy evening, yayyyy!! I realize there will be good days and fussy days ahead but it was nice to skip the fussy tonight! She is so adorable and so fun to watch every day, she has been making a lot of sweet little sounds and "talking" a lot more. She is also getting noticeably heavier and longer, it's amazing how fast it happens! Here are some pictures from the weekend.

Marcie's Baby Shower

We celebrated my wonderful friend Marcie's soon to be baby boy this weekend! We had so much fun getting ready for the shower (you can see Jenny and I doing some late night crafting to get ready for the shower below) and loved getting the decorations together but celebrating a new baby with good friends is the best of all! There were quite a few of us that found out we were pregnant around the same time and went through the majority of our pregnancies together, Marcie is the last woman standing and I know she can't wait for her baby boy to be here! Congrats Marcie, we can't wait to finally meet him!!

Bella Tummy Time

So here is my first experiment with trying to upload a video on blogger. For some reason it is tiny and I don't even want to say how long it took me to figure this out so I am proud of my progress for tonight. You can see how hard she is working to turn on her over and this was about a week ago. She is getting so big!

Another wonderful weekend with Bella!

We have had a lot of fun with Bella this weekend as usual. On Friday we went to the doctor because Bella had been having a very fussy week, especially in the afternoons and being a nervous first time mom I was worried she wasn't eating enough. She is such a little peanut I didn't want her to be food deprived! She also seemed to be getting a little rash on her neck and I wanted to have her checked out. The doctor reassured us that a rash is very common at this age and that she was growing well, she had gained 8 ounces in 8 days and weighed 7lbs 9oz! I felt very reassured and was glad I had gone in to have her checked out just in case! On Friday night Rowdy watched Bella all by himself and he did great! It was my best friend Ashley's 25th birthday and we had a girls night dinner to celebrate! Rowdy and Bella snuggled on the couch and had so much fun! On Saturday Rowdy and Bella watched NCAA basketball since I was at the hospital visiting my uncle. They had another great day relaxing and snuggling. With March Madness coming up I think they will be doing a lot of watching basketball on the couch! Rowdy is so good with Bella and I know they loved having some alone bonding time! We then went for a stroll in the neighborhood (see Bella's cute outfit below) and rented movies to watch. I was enjoying the movie but apparently I got a little tired and fell asleep from 8:30-10:30, oops! On Sunday, Uncle Tuffy came to visit and meet Bella for the first time! He brought a glow seahorse and Bella absolutely loves it! She falls asleep when she is snuggled up with it! It has been a fun, relaxing weekend!
